Fajr special screenings partly revealed

 Fajr International Film Festival in Iran has revealed part of the full line-up in special screenings section.

According to the festival's media release, three international flicks were announced to be screened at its Special Screenings – Best of Countries section of the film events.

A total of 10 movies will be screened during this year’s special event.

The initial line-up includes 'Woman at War' by Benedikt Erlingsson, 'Cake' by Asim Abbasi and 'The Guilty' by Gustav Moller, hailing respectively from Iceland, Pakistan Denmark. 

Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival pays tribute to quality local and international films while celebrating cultural exchange and displaying creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes.

The 37th edition of the festival is slated for April 18-26, 2019 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
